This is a general example of how a week at the Oyambre Surf Camp is usually structured. Schedule might change depending on weather / waves conditions and other considerations.
Saturday: Check in - Dinner and Ice-breaker + sangria
Sunday: Surf Lessons - Yoga - Beach Games - Wine & Cheese
Monday: Surf Lessons - Yoga - Workshop (bracelets / painting) - Quiz night
Tuesday: Surf Lessons - Yoga - Sunset walk to viewpoint
Wednesday: Day trip to Bilbao or Picos - Day off for Yoga and Surf
Thursday: Surf Lessons - Yoga - Volleyball tournament - Burger night + beer pong
Friday: Surf Lessons - Yoga - Workshop (bracelets / painting) - Open mic night
We recommend flying to Santander or Bilbao to reach the Camp in Oyambre. The camp is 50 min. drive from Santander Airport and around 1h45 min. drive from Bilbao Airport.
Check in and check out is on Saturdays and the easiest way to get to the camp is to take one of the three shuttles available every Saturday. Transfer times are approximate and you might have to wait at the airport depending on the day's schedule.
The shuttle prices are:
To/from Santander Airport: €25 one way
To/from Bilbao Arport: €45 one way

Cantabria, in Northern Spain is a wave paradise, backed by incredible backgrounds. During summer, thanks to Oyambre's beach west exposure, swells consistently hit the coast bringing gentle rolling waves that are perfect for beginner surfers.
Wave size is waist to chest high and Oyambre is a wide beach break, meaning that there are no rocks and you can find space in the line-up to learn.

The new tipi tents in the Oyambre camping are set up on elevated decks surrounded by trees. Each tipi has electricity to charge your devices, raised bed frames and high-quality memory foam mattress. Bedding and pillows are included in the package.
Sleep in comfort, style, rain and bug-free. Under the outside deck you will find plenty of space to store your surf equipment.
The tipi can be set up as a shared twin with two single beds for you and a friend or as a couple room with a double bed.
Apart from your comfortable tipi tent, in the surf camp there are a shared eating and entertainment area, an outside cinema, multiple hammocks and a raised yoga deck overlooking the mountains.
The Oyambre surf camp is part of a bigger campsite that host othe surf camps and holidaygoers. In this campsite you can find a restaurant, a small shop, swimming pool, basketball court, various shower blocks.
