São Miguel has much more to offer than incredible waves and stunning beaches. You will have plenty of chances for discovering the stunning nature of the island, waterfalls, hiking and snorkeling. Feel like relaxing? Immerse yourself in hot springs or natural pools.
You'll be able to book these add-on activities directly at the Surf House.
The Surf Lodge with its cozy living room and relaxing garden with swimming pool and BBQ station is made to assure you all the comfort you will need after a day of waves.
The villa has rooms with double bed and dorms room that can accommodate up to 6 guest. All the rooms are equipped with sounds system device and free WiFi. Beds are made up on your arrival with new sheets and pillows. Towels and other necessary items are provided to make sure you have nothing to worry about on your vacation.
The large swimming pool and a lush grass lawn is ideal for relaxing in the sun or streching your body in a yoga session.
If you rent your own car there is a parking lot right in front of the lodge.
Flying to Ponta Delgada Aiport is the easiest way to get to the surf house. Pick up and drop off are included in every package - someone will be waiting for you at Arrivals to bring you to the surf house.

São Miguel has the most varied and consistent surf in the whole Azores. With a coastline facing both north and south, it's always possible to find good conditions based on swell and wind directions.
The surf lessons are held in small groups and by experienced surf coaches. No matter if you are an absolute beginner or a more intermediate surfer, the team in São Miguel will make sure you are in a safe environment to learn and improve your surf skills.

A 2/2 or 3/2mm for Summer and a 4/3 for Winter

Temperatures vary between 17°C in Winter and 24 °C in Summer.
Swell consistency
Most of the beach breaks have good waves year-round thanks to consistent west and north-west swells.
Weather
The weather in the Azores is mild and extremely variable year-round.
The Surf House you will be staying at is nestled on the south shore of São Miguel island, with a stunning view on the volcanic landscape and at a close distance to the (surfing) beaches of Populo and Milicias.
In the surf house you will find seven rooms with private bathroom and either double or twin beds. The living room is the perfect area to relax, work with the good wi-fi or have a drink and play a game with new friends.
Outside there are a pool, a skate ramp and ample spaces for sunbathing, doing yoga or reading a book.
The surf house maximum capacity is 16 guests.
